Song of the Sea
Hope is a mountain so craggy and high
The clouds try to catch it as they roll on by
They tumble against it; their tears turn to rain
My eyes weep with them for I feel their pain
Joy is a river that runs to the sea
The creeks run to greet it with a desperate plea
The water grows deeper; the river runs fast
My heart grows sad as that river runs past
Love is an ocean so vast and so wide
Down in its dark depths I ache to abide
I’ll climb up that mountain; weep me some rain
pour in to that river the ocean to gain
Song of the sea, I hear your call
If hope is a mountain I will not fall
If joy is a river, with it I’ll run
If I reach love's ocean your song will be sung
